Who We Are

Janet Wilson has lived in the Pasadena area for 16 years. She and her family (husband: Matt, and children: Hailey, Olivia, and Brady) began volunteering with Stars by joining the Stars road trip in 2016. She was delighted to be asked to join Stars as a mentor coach. Janet is a graduate of Amherst College with a BA in Psychology and Spanish, and of the University of Southern California with a Master’s in Social Work. She is a licensed clinical social worker. She worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, working primarily with children with diabetes, and has contracted with the Independent Adoption Center and Children’s Bureau, conducting independent and foster adoption homestudies for families desiring to adopt.
