The Staff of Stars

Jacqueline was born and raised in Duarte. She received her Associate’s Degree in Psychology at Citrus College. From there, she transferred to Cal State LA in hopes of obtaining her bachelor’s degree in social work.

Now, she is currently in her 2nd year of the master’s social work program and completing her internship here at Stars. Through the program, Jacqueline has had the opportunity to broaden her knowledge of the diverse challenges different populations encounter. It has given her the opportunity to understand the importance of enhancing the well-being of all and helping them meet their basic needs. 

She has had the opportunity to work with various populations and build meaningful connections through non-profit work. Jacqueline looks forward to becoming more involved. Outside of Stars, Jacqueline enjoys hiking and cooking.
