Irma is a graduate student pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Pacific Oaks College. Her focus is on mental health and program development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles.

Irma is excited to begin her second year as an intern at STARS. She hopes to collaborate with staff and partners, enhance the well-being of individuals and families in Pasadena, and advocate for system changes.

Outside her professional work, she finds joy in spending quality time with her family and exploring local restaurants and community events.
