The Staff of Stars

Gina was born in Baghdad, Iraq, and raised in Tehran, Iran. After political unrest, her family moved to the United States to begin a new life. She continued her education in Los Angeles and spent many years working in the corporate world. Gina earned a B.A. in Public Administration with the hope of becoming a public servant but soon realized it was not her true calling. She later pursued a degree in holistic health and began working with clients to help improve chronic health conditions. While serving as a community health educator in low-income communities, Gina saw firsthand the deeper struggles people faced, not just in health, but also in emotional well-being and access to vital support services. She believed that God had led her to this path felt inspired her to pursue a master’s degree in social work. She is currently a student at Pacific Oaks College and is expected to graduate in 2026.

Gina is a Christian whose favorite subject to talk about is God’s love. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cats, and loves reading, painting, and traveling. She has a deep appreciation for different cultures. She follows a raw vegan lifestyle for both health reasons and to support animal rights.
