Annelise Asch is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Arizona State University, building on a longstanding dedication to mental health advocacy and client-centered care. She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018 and has since worked in business development roles across several mental health treatment facilities. These experiences have given her a broad understanding of the behavioral health landscape and deepened her commitment to supporting individuals through compassionate, trauma-informed clinical work.

Annelise is especially passionate about working with individuals struggling with eating disorders. As a vocal advocate for fat activism and body liberation, she integrates her values into both her academic and professional work. Outside of her clinical training, she creates plus-size fashion content to promote body inclusivity and challenge harmful societal norms around weight and appearance. Annelise aims to create therapeutic spaces where all bodies are affirmed and healing is approached without stigma.

In her spare time, Annelise likes going on adventures with her husband, listening to Taylor Swift, and petting corgis.
