Max Boyle is a Altadena/Pasadena native who joins the Stars team as an intern pursuing his Masters in Social Work (MSW) with a passion of partnering with youth to fulfill their dreams and purpose. He brings fifteen years of experience working with youth as a youth director at a local Pasadena church helping to lead multiple community outreach programs and initiatives spanning various social needs including: affordable housing, police/community relationships, food security, cross cultural relations, and youth advocacy. He and his wife are complete-loss Eaton Fire survivors who are currently rebuilding their home in Altadena. Upon graduation, Max intends to bring his education and life experience as a social worker back to his beloved community of Altadena to partner in the ongoing rebuilding process.

In his free time, Max is an avid movie goer who especially enjoys coming of age stories and monster flicks. Max is also a part of the mass podcast community where he consistently attends various conventions, events, and meetups all about nostalgic culture. When Max isn’t watching movies, he is most likely rooting for his beloved hometown sports teams, reading comic books, or creating a dish from scratch.
