Samantha Paredes-Cruz has six years of experience working with students and families. Throughout her experience, she has provided academic accommodations and empowered students to excel academically. She also worked as a high school academic case manager, ensuring students stayed on track to graduate. She has also led social-emotional learning groups for high school students on regulating emotions, managing stress, and building strong relationship skills.
Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Middlebury College. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at California State University – Los Angeles. Eventually, Samantha plans to become a clinical social worker to continue serving youth and families in the Los Angeles area.
When not focusing on academics, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and taking long walks. She also enjoys watching a good movie with friends and family.
