Andi Moody is a Social Work major currently completing her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Los Angeles. As she prepares to graduate, Andi is gaining hands-on experience in the field through her internship with STARs and plans to continue her education in graduate school in Fall 2027.

Having grown up throughout Los Angeles County before settling in Pasadena six years ago, Andi has developed a strong connection to the diverse communities that call Los Angeles home. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with children and youth, and that passion continues to shape her path in social work.

Andi is especially passionate about advocating for children, youth, and families who may face barriers to having their needs and voices heard. She believes in meeting people with empathy, respect, and without judgment, while helping them recognize their own strengths and ability to advocate for themselves. Through her education and work at STARs, Andi hopes to continue developing the skills necessary to support young people and their families while contributing meaningfully to the communities she serves.

Outside of Stars, Andi enjoys spending time with her son, cooking and baking, reading and writing, video games, nature walks, and sleeping!
