Financial & Housing Support
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
FEMA provides information to help individuals prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters in California, including disaster recovery centers and flood maps.
This relief includes:
- Displacement assistance for up to 14 days to help cover hotel costs.
- $770 for essential items
- Larger grants to cover essential costs, medical bills, cars, and more.
- Low-interest loans are available for impacted small business owners and residents.

Emergency Cash Assistance for Outdoor Workers
Inclusive Action has launched a new emergency fund to help outdoor workers – street vendors, landscapers, and recyclers – impacted by the fires.
Impacted outdoor workers can apply for one-time cash assistance support of $500. Recipients will receive cash payments on a first-come, first-served basis, and as funding allows. To be eligible for funding, community members must meet all of the following qualifications:
- Live or work in areas directly impacted by the fires
- Primarily work outdoors, (e.g. as a street vendor, landscape worker, recycler, etc.)
- Have experienced a loss of income/property/belongings due to fires

California Fire Foundation – Disaster Relief Assistance
The Foundation provides immediate financial support to victims through $250 SAVE gift cards distributed by firefighters on the scene.

Offering temporary housing to people impacted by Los Angeles wildfires. Impacted residents can request assistance for temporary housing support from Airbnb.org by filling out this intake form with 211 LA.
Restaurants Care: Grants for Food & Beverage Workers
Restaurants Care has opened a temporary fund to provide emergency relief grants to food and beverage workers impacted by the Los Angeles Area Fires. Grants will range between $350-$1,500. Grants will be awarded based on need and available funding.

To support families impacted by the Eaton fire, LA County Parks Care Camps will provide youth and teens with a supportive space for fun and recreation including music, arts and crafts, sports activities and field trips to the LA County Natural History Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, Dodger Stadium, & more. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided daily; teens will also get supper. Locations:

Uber Evacuees can redeem a free Uber ride up to $40 by applying the promo code “WILDFIRE25” in the Wallet section of their Uber app before requesting a ride to a designated shelter location.

Free rental cars to people affected by the LA-area fires with lost home and vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis while the supply of rental cars lasts.
