The Staff of Stars

Christopher Poot is a First-Generation student currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Work at Alliant International University, after earning his Bachelor’s in Social Work from CSULA. He is passionate about giving back to his Boyle Heights community, particularly supporting low-income families. Christopher works with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, where he mentors adolescents and coaches various sports, including basketball, baseball, volleyball, and flag football.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Christopher enjoys a variety of hobbies. He’s an anime enthusiast, a baseball fan who roots for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and an avid listener of R&B music, with Usher being his favorite artist.
