The Staff of Stars
Diana Bravo is a first-generation student, entrepreneur, and artist who advocates for student development and parent engagement. She draws on her experience as a STARS after-school program alumni to connect families with educational institutions. Using a sociological approach, she focuses on social structures and family dynamics, applying ecological systems theory to understand child development.
As the K-5 Program & Parent Engagement Lead, Diana fosters relationships among programs, families, and communities, promoting a holistic educational approach. She also runs a business centered on childhood experiences and community engagement through workshops and an online store in Pasadena.
Currently completing her education at CSULA, Diana is deepening her understanding of educational systems. Her experience as a first-generation PUSD student drives her commitment to fostering self-love and confidence in children.
In her free time, Diana enjoys art, coffee, thrift shopping, and spending time with her partner and cats.
