Keanu Monterroso is a passionate community advocate and experienced professional based in Northwest Pasadena. His commitment to service began in high school, where he collaborated with local non-profits and co-directed summer camps for students in the Pasadena Unified School District, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Merrimack College, which has provided him with a robust understanding of social systems and community dynamics. After graduating, Keanu gained valuable experience as a Help Desk Engineer in the IT sector before transitioning to the role of Director of Operations at Stars. In this capacity, he effectively leverages his IT background to streamline processes, enhance organizational efficiency, and implement innovative strategies that directly support the community.
Outside of his professional commitments, Keanu is passionate about personal development and enjoys exploring new ideas. He values quality time spent with his partner and their three cats. As Director of Operations at Stars, Keanu is eager to apply his diverse skills and experience to uplift and support the community he engages in.
