The Staff of Stars
Maria was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in the City of Pasadena. She graduated from Pasadena High School. As a first-generation student, Maria attended Pasadena City College, receiving her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. She transferred to California State University, Los Angeles, earning her Bachelor’s in Child Development. Maria is a preschool teacher in Pasadena for a non-profit agency working with families to help break the cycle of poverty and improve their lives by providing tools to create a successful foundation for their future. Her passion for working with children and families encouraged Maria to pursue her Master’s in Social Work. In 2023, she enrolled at Pacific Oaks College and will graduate in 2025.
Maria enjoys traveling and spending time with her family during her free time. She enjoys watching her son play baseball and enjoys chasing after her toddler. She enjoys going to Disneyland and attending Dodger games.
