Unitha L. Muhammad is a Licensed Minister, nonprofit executive, development consultant, and organizational builder with more than 25 years of experience transforming visions into lasting impact. Throughout her career, Unitha has worked alongside individuals, organizations, and communities to strengthen leadership, build sustainable systems, and develop meaningful partnerships.
As Interim Executive Director of Stars, Unitha provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to advance the organization’s mission of empowering youth and strengthening communities. She leads staff development, fundraising, community partnerships, and operational excellence while guiding the Stars through a season of growth and transition. Unitha is committed to building high-performing teams, cultivating meaningful partnerships, and creating systems that expand impact and transform lives.
Beyond Stars, Unitha is also a Certified Christian Life Coach who coaches individuals, pastors, and couples with her purpose partner, Pastor Omar A. Muhammad. She guides clients through seasons of growth, transition, purpose, and leadership development.
In her spare time she enjoys listening and watching classic crime and mystery shows, listening to podcasts, exploring new places, spending time at the beach, playing card games, or spending time with family and friends. She is a proud mother of 4 young adult children, 3 boys and 1 girl, who bring her immense joy.
