The Staff of Stars

Wendy Mestas, a Los Angeles native, holds a Master’s Degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the same institution. Deeply rooted in her faith, Wendy is passionate about empowering and advocating for women and adolescents, particularly in overcoming life challenges related to substance abuse.

Wendy is an avid reader, longtime volunteer, and lover of live theater. She enjoys people-watching, spending time outdoors by the water, and cherishes being with family and friends. Wendy also embraces the occasional challenge of fundraising for causes close to her heart.

Wendy has taught Sunday School at Peewee Church for children ages 3 – 5 years old, and has chaperon many church and teen activities. She has coached and was team parent for many of her children sports activities including, marching band, hockey, t-ball, soccer, baseball and basketball.  In her favorite past time, you will find her curled up on the couch either reading a good mystery novel or watching a suspense filled movie with her favorite son.
