Who We Are

Perla grew up in Pasadena. She began attending Stars in 3rd grade, and has been part of the Stars mentoring program for over 10 years. When Perla was in her sophomore year in high school, she had the opportunity to be a part of the Stars Elementary Program as a Jr. Staff.  She then Graduated from Pasadena High School in 2012 and is now attending Pasadena City College and plans to pursue a career in nursing.

Through being part of Stars, The Girls Junior League of Pasadena, and volunteering in her community, Perla discovered her passion to serve. She trusts that God will use her to help her students and others in ways that she can’t even imagine..

Perla loves to hike, spend time with her family and friends.
