Who We Are

Gabby was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and migrated with her family to Los Angeles as a child. She has lived in the greater area of Los Angeles ever since. Gabby grew up witnessing the scarcity of resources for immigrant families and began to develop a passion for helping others. She is passionate about mental health, advocacy, and restorative justice.

As a first-generation college student, Gabby attended CSULA and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2017. She returned to CSULA to pursue her Master’s in Social Work degree and will be graduating class of 2025. Upon graduating with her MSW, Gabby plans to become a therapist and work with children and youth suffering from mental illness.

On her free time, Gabby enjoys going to the beach and exploring new coffee shops as form of self-care. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends and going to the gym with her boyfriend.
